Quality Engineer I

Duration - 6 Months, Contract, W-2

Onsite in Irvine, CA

Pay - $35- $41an hr

The main function of a quality engineer is to apply engineering theory and principles to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company systems/procedures for new product development. This entry-level quality engineer will partner closely with a senior engineer in order to provide support and coverages on different tasks and deliverables.

Job Responsibilities:

· Support and execute on equipment and tooling installation qualification (IQ).

· Observe, log, and communicate defects seen on the production line.

· Update procedures, drawings, and related-documentation when applicable.

· Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in engineering required & 0-2 years experience required.

· Experience with MS Office Suite and statistical analysis tool, CAD experience preferred

· Verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability.

· Team player and detail oriented.

· Ability to read and interpret drawings, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports.
